HEIC / HEIF → JPG. Turn HEIC or HEIF photos into JPG files accepted by more upload forms. Choose JPG quality, convert a batch, then download one image or a ZIP. Server processing; temporary files. Maximum 10 MB per file, with batch and daily limits shown here.

What this conversion does

The server decodes the still image from each HEIC or HEIF file, applies the photo orientation when available, and encodes a new JPG. A Live Photo's motion clip and extra frames are not included.

Quality, size and transparency

JPG cannot store transparency; transparent areas become white. The quality slider changes JPEG encoding, but cannot restore detail already lost in the source or guarantee an exact KB size.

Privacy and file details

This converter uploads files to the server for processing. The output is temporary and is scheduled for deletion after about 30 minutes. Conversion re-encodes the image and does not promise to preserve EXIF, GPS, or the original color profile. Keep your original if you need any of those details.

When to use it

Use JPG when a form, Windows app, or recipient does not accept HEIC. If the form also sets a KB or pixel limit, use the target-size tool after checking the converted result.

If a file fails

If a file fails, first check that it is a complete HEIC/HEIF still image under 10 MB. A Live Photo video (.mov), corrupted transfer, or unsupported variant needs a different source file.

Common questions

Will the Live Photo video be converted?

No. This converts the still photo only. Keep the original Live Photo if you need its motion clip.

What happens to the names and batch?

Each output keeps a cleaned version of its input name with .jpg. Repeated names get -2, -3 and so on. Two or more successful files download in one ZIP.

Can I preserve location and other EXIF?

This converter does not offer metadata preservation. It re-encodes pixels and does not copy HEIC EXIF, GPS, or its original color profile into the JPG. Keep the original if those details matter.
