Supports JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, SVG • Max 10MB per file • 50 files per day • 50 per batch
Use this compressor when you want smaller files across a batch. File sizes vary with image detail, so ordinary compression does not promise a specific KB result. If a form requires both a maximum KB and pixel dimensions, use the target-size tool to check the actual output before submitting it.
JPG and WebP are re-encoded at a fixed quality setting. PNG is quantized and compressed, so fine color detail may change. GIF is re-encoded; review animations after download. SVG is copied rather than optimized. The result may be larger than the source, so check the reported sizes.
Files are uploaded to the server. The ZIP and temporary inputs are scheduled for deletion after about 30 minutes. Re-encoded images are not a metadata backup: EXIF, GPS, and color profiles may change or be removed. SVG files are copied unchanged, including any metadata they contain.
JPG is useful for photographs. Check faces, text, and fine edges after re-encoding; a smaller file may show artifacts.
PNG can suit logos and graphics. This compressor reduces its color detail, so compare gradients and brand colors with the original.
For an existing WebP, compare the new bytes and appearance before replacing it. An already optimized source may not get smaller.
Does it guarantee a smaller image? No. Compression can produce a larger file on already optimized input. For a strict cap, use the target-size tool.
Why did a file fail? Try a complete JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, or SVG under 10 MB. A renamed file with mismatched image data or a damaged upload may not decode.
Where does processing happen? On the server. Download the ZIP promptly; temporary files expire.
