The server decodes the AVIF still image and encodes a JPG. Animation, HDR appearance, and advanced color information may not carry over.
Transparent areas become white. JPG can be larger than AVIF and may not match its color or tonal range exactly; compare the downloaded image before publishing.
This converter uploads files to the server for processing. The output is temporary and is scheduled for deletion after about 30 minutes. Conversion re-encodes the image and does not promise to preserve EXIF, GPS, or the original color profile. Keep your original if you need any of those details.
